Remove Snorkel box from rear pic 5.

To clear the area where drilling will take place remove seats, rear handle, divider and exhaust. Any polystyrene buoyancy under rear deck should also be removed to allow access to bolts.

Holes that remain in deck from the snorkel box can be covered with waterproof tape if the area is being further covered with traction. Alternatively, they should be filled by either using washer and cap screws, or a marine filler product.

Align center cleat with the center of the craft and approximately 100mm up from the rear deck. Mark positions where holes are to be drilled, you can use the backing plate as a guide.

Install U bolt with protector plate and backing plates. Drill through 5mm pilot holes of protector plate and install pop rivets.

Measure from end of rear bumper approximately 140mm up side of rub rail (confirm by sizing up with rescue sled). Drill through and install side attachment. Repeat for opposite side.
